Green Mountain Zen

Green Mountain Zen is a Zen Buddhist practice community based in Wellington, New Zealand led by Rev. Philip Shinko Squire, Sensei. We offer a regular programme of classes in sitting meditation, half- and full-day Zen retreats, sesshin (extended retreats), and workshops in related disciplines. The community is affiliated to Yokoji Zen Mountain Center in Southern California, and is dedicated to planting the seeds of Buddha's wisdom and compassion in New Zealand soil.
